1. Nature of the platform
“Qvant” is a classified ads platform for used phones. It only provides tools for displaying information and communicating within the platform; it does not take part in transactions between users, does not provide payment, guarantee (escrow), logistics or courier services, is not the buyer, seller or guarantor in any transaction between users, and does not collect or make any payments on anyone's behalf. Listings marked “Official” are phones sold by us (the Qvant official store); for those phones we are the seller, as set out in the “General Provisions” of the “Terms of Use”.
2. Content
Listings, shop details, chat content and reviews are published by users themselves and go live immediately upon publication. The platform does not review them in advance and does not guarantee that they are true, accurate, complete or lawful, nor does it guarantee the quality, safety or legality of the items or services described.
The “Verified Business” badge only means that, during review, the platform checked the company name and tax identification number submitted by that business. It does not mean that the platform guarantees the business's licensing, creditworthiness or the quality of its goods and services, nor that the platform vouches for it; for businesses without this badge, the platform has not checked their company information. Positive rating percentages and reviews come from users and are for reference only.
The device condition shown in listings (cosmetic condition, dents and scratches, battery health, repair history, etc.) and the “Screenshot proof” and “Seller-reported” labels are provided by the seller. The platform does not inspect phones sold by third-party sellers, and screenshots may have been altered; “Inspected by Qvant” only means that the phone was inspected and is sold by the Qvant official store itself. Please check everything in person when you meet.
The rule that nicknames and shop names across the platform may not be identical or too similar exists only to reduce impersonation and confusion and does not mean that the platform has verified the real identity of their users.
3. Transaction risks
Transactions between users (payment, the phone, handover, after-sales service, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the parties, and the platform bears no liability for them. Please verify everything yourself before any transaction. We recommend that you:
- inspect the phone in person: turn it on and check that Face ID / Touch ID works properly, that iCloud / Find My has been signed out, and that the battery health and serial number match the description and the packaging before you pay;
- do not transfer money or pay a deposit to strangers in advance;
- be wary of prices well below market value, pressure to pay quickly, requests to move the conversation off the platform, or requests for verification codes;
- if anything seems suspicious, keep the chat history and report it; if you suspect a crime, report it to the police.
The platform will take action against accounts that violate the rules, but cannot guarantee that any losses will be recovered.
4. Contact details and external links provided by users
Phone numbers, social media accounts, website addresses and other contact details in listings, shop details and chats are provided by users themselves. The platform does not verify them and is not responsible for the content of these external websites and services.
5. Service interruptions
If the service is interrupted, messages are delayed or data is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, malfunctions, network problems, force majeure or other causes, the platform will make every effort to restore the service as soon as possible and, to the extent permitted by law, bears no liability.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Serbian law, the platform is not liable for transactions between users or for indirect losses arising from the use of the platform. Liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example, for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or under mandatory consumer protection rules) is not affected by this Disclaimer.
